The internet is now a fundamental tool for children around the world to learn.

COVID-19 and the introduction of remote-learning has shown us how important the internet is for children to access education.

That’s why Naza is a key supporter of GIGA, a global connectivity expansion project, designed to connect every young person in the world to the web. Launched in September 2019, this initiative by UNICEF and ITU seeks to map all schools in the world, categorising them by internet connectivity and deploying funding to increase - or in some cases, create internet access, thereby bridging the digital divide. GIGA is a long term effort, but there has been a special Covid-19 rapid response.
